Handmade in the early part of the 20th century this Navajo crafted earrings is a wonderful example of the classic work from the Fred Harvey era of the great Southwest.

Harvey era jewelry was handmade by Native artists employed by the Harvey hotel chain in the southwest as gifts and souvenirs for guests to take home after their visit. Handmade from sterling silver Harvey era jewelry was often crafted on the spot by the artists and presented directly to the buyer. Harvey era jewelry has become among the most collectible Native American jewelry available.

Measuring approximately 1/2 inch tall each this pair of antique Harvey era Thunderbird earrings was crafted in solid sterling silver and features the classic screw-back fitting. The screw back assembly can be professionally changed to current styles. For more information about converting these earrings to non-screw back styles please visit with our gallery staff at our League City, Texas location.
