Vintage Southwestern style "butterfly" motif cuff bracelet in nickel silver with faux turquoise accent circa 1960's

A very unusual "survivor" from the costume/tourist jewelry trade beginning in the 1940's lasting through the 1970's comes this great little butterfly motif cuff bracelet with turquoise color accent. Created in the 1960's this cuff bracelet was made much the same was as other costume jewelry similar to it. Pressed from molds then hand-assembled and finished with a single faux turquoise accent at the center of the butterfly this bracelet was considered a "top line" design in the 1960's / 1970's.

Unfortunately, much of the costume Southwestern jewelry produced from this era has not survived. Jewelry similar to this lovely old 1960's butterfly bracelet were often considered "tourist trinkets" and were not considered "keepsakes" and were discarded or destroyed. Sought out by collectors, pristine examples of Native American style works such as this butterfly cuff are becoming increasingly rare finds.

Measuring approximately 2.5 inches wide across the top this unique, vintage butterfly cuff bracelet is set to fit a 7 to 7.5 inch wrist.
