Handcrafted by Oneida native artist Carol Bauman of Wisconsin this lovely little flower motif pin / pendant is delicate and lovely. Hand-beaded to a single piece of tanned elk hide this little beaded flower is another example of the beauty of the bead-work artistry commonly found among the central US Native Americans.

Often referred to by Native peoples as a symbol of natures simple beauty flowers are also a symbol of spring season and renewal. Early Native peoples often relied upon flowers as a gauge for the overall health of their eco-systems and and were considered a symbol that life was in balance or "in the circle" as medicine people would say.

This lovely little beaded flower pin / pendant measures approximately 2 inches across.
