Very unique in design this vintage Navajo crafted ring was handmade to honor Mother Spider. According to many Native peoples the spider is a teacher. Mother Spider is believed is said to be the being that taught the first people how to weave. From the craft of weaving came the craft of cloth and Mother Spiders influence can be seen in the construction of homes of the first people.
